Here's a progress update on my stone wall. When I had posted my last picture, the wall was only about at the height of the string you can barely see in this pic. 

This is the wall that I have started on the other side of our steps. This one is about 50' long, as compared with about 12' long in the post above this one.

Ethan caught his first fish a few weeks ago, and here's the proof. We were at the Beaver Lodge swimming area and Uncle Josh was letting Ethan use his fishing pole. Ethan was quivering with excitement. Thanks to Nate Ellis for being there with his digital to capture it!

Retaining wall progress update. This is going a little more slowly than I had hoped. My original goal was to finish this by the end of fall 2005, but I think it may stretch into next summer too.

We took Ethan to the 4th of July parade www.thomaston4thofjuly.com in Thomaston, Maine. This the first parade he has ever been to.

"The construction project that is our yard" - I'm slowly picking away at building a retaining wall in our front yard. I finally got the drainage done and now I'm starting to place stones.
